Having an “I Don’t Wanna” Day? I Can Relate.

Here in the Carolinas, as the season turns and the weather cools, I notice myself turning inward, toward more self-reflection and solitude. I notice my body is craving more rest, spaciousness, and quiet. I find myself saying “yes” to more naps, books, walks outside, and evenings inside.

In the past, my inner high-achiever would have made myself wrong, and fought my own intuition. I would have pushed harder, seeking to “fix” the perceived problem of yearning for more ease. I would eventually have driven myself to burnout.

Instead, I’m choosing to tune in to what’s being asked of me. I’m honoring my body’s shifting rhythms, relaxing into a slower pace and flowing with what is, versus flighting against what’s not.

Listening to and honoring what’s true for you … shifting out of automatic habits that do not support you … access to your own permission: could you use some of that? It’s available to you. And, you may find it exceptionally more available to you through partnering with me as your life coach. Let’s ease our way through this season, together.
