What if You Could Have What You Actually Want?
One of the most common things I hear from people who come to me seeking Life Coaching clients is that there’s something they really, want… and they can’t have it.
It’s heartbreaking. I’ve been there.
We have something like this in the way of what we want more than anything:
It’s too hard.
I don’t know where to start.
What will people think?
It seems impossible.
What if it doesn’t work out?
Or, the Big Three:
If any of those obstacles sound familiar to you, you are in good company. Every single person that I’ve ever coached started out with one (or several) of them. And, over a period of a few months, DID THE THING THEY WANTED TO DO ANYWAY. That’s right: they made the seemingly impossible, possible. Here are a few:
Took a 6 month sabbatical from work to travel.
Moved across the country to the city he’d always wanted to live in.
Moved across the world.
Started a company that aligned with her values.
Sold a business that no longer fit into the vision she had for her life.
Moved on from a painful divorce.
Returned the passion and connection to a formerly stagnant relationship.
The individuals I work with are not inherently different than you. They are, as you are, humans with wants and needs and dreams… and some stuff in the way. The good news: one of the essential roles that I hold as Coach is a partner in co-creating the life that you want to be living, as opposed to settling for the one you think you can have. We take the stuff that’s in the way (both real AND perceived) out of the way.
You, my dear, are a Grown-Ass Human. You are worthy of living a life that is not a compromise. What’s the thing that you want more than anything in the world? The thing that if only you could, you would?
And: what’s stopping you?
When you are ready to take the thing that you want and transform it into the thing you actually have… let me know.
p.s. This just in from a previous client:
“The things we worked through last year in our sessions together are still being applied today. There are endless moments in my life where I have so much gratitude in my heart for you and the growth you helped me find within myself. I am now a woman full of badassery who has a life full of what she has always dreamt of. I started my company, I got my apartment by myself, and I am not settling for anything less than everything I know I deserve and I am worth. I couldn’t have gotten to this place without your guidance, or maybe I could’ve but you helped me move the process quicker and made me believe that anything was possible.” ~ Lauren
